ABOUT ME

For the last two decades I’ve been working in the security and technology fields, covering every role from hands-on support and technical development, to strategic leadership.

Over the last decade I’ve been taking the stage for just about every kind of presentation to every kind of audience. Whether it’s to inform, persuade, inspire, just for entertainment, or a mix.

I’ve created and delivered more than 100 unique presentations, helped dozens of people to create and present their own, and (with some help from the internet) presented to people on every continent except Antartica.

Most of my time now is either spent on the family business, teaching and mentoring, writing, or talking.

The idea for Secure the Stage came through working with rookie speakers. I realised the toolkits I use to make presentations engaging, effective, and fitted to the audience can be used by anyone to develop their own style. I’ve then spent the last couple of years working out how to best make them available to others, and this is the result.
